As in previous years, Webware has announced the finalists of the Webware 100 awards in 10 categories on the web. Firefox has been nominated in the section of browsers, but this year is not the only Mozilla product in this category: Camino, the Mozilla-based browser for Mac OS X, and Ubiquity the command line interface of Mozilla Labs experiment, also are nominated.
Thunderbird, for its part, is nominated in the category Communications.
addition, among other Mozilla-based products are Xmarks, formerly known as Foxmarks, which began as an extension to synchronize bookmarks, as well as the social browser Flock, and Skyfire mobile browser. Postbox is also nominated in the category Communications.
Opera, Chrome, WebKit, Maxthon, Lunascape and Safari are the other candidates in more browsers. Vote in
Webware 100 by 30 April.
